We are gradually building here an extensive database
of abstracts of
articles and books relating to Jewish law (broadly defined). It is
organised
according to the categories used in the Survey of Recent
Literature of
The Jewish Law Annual, and the initial material reproduces
the Index to the Surveys in vols.
1-5 and the Surveys of
vols. 6, 7, 9 and 10. The categorisation is to a degree subjective, and
many articles may be relevant to more than a single category.
Researchers
are therefore encouraged to use the free text search engine below,
whether
looking for authors, topics or sources cited.
We encourage all scholars active in the field to send
abstracts of their
articles for inclusion, by e-mail to Bernard.Jackson@man.ac.uk.
